Fragmented Me (2016)

This was a short solo devised performance with support from Action Hero practitioners, James Stenhouse and Gemma Paintin.

I performed the piece using a microphone and projector on stage. I projected a collection of family videos that chartered my life growing up. I wanted to portray the transient nature of memories alongside the live performer. I commentated words to compliment the clips, using deconstructed techniques. As the video clips progressively got faster, words inevitably began to be missed out. I wish to continue to pursue this project in the future.
